Antonio Valencia will join an illustrious list when he dons Manchester United's number seven shirt next season.

New United signing Nick Powell will take Valencia's old squad number, while Japanese recruit Shinji Kagawa will wear number 26.

The attacking midfielder, signed for £17m from Borussia Dortmund, rejected the chance to wear the number seven because he "hasn't accomplished anything yet".
