Photographer Bjoern Ewer's Bubbles Bamboozle Viewers (PICTURES)

Can You Tell What This Is?

"I was inspired watching my little son", photographer Bjoern Ewers explains.

"It was a sunny Sunday, and he was making bubbles. I loved the colours and the simplicity of them."

From this blissful-sounding scene the Germany-based advertising creative decided to make Orbital, this series of enchanting close ups of foam bubbles.

"People have been fascinated by the pictures, though a lot of them don't realise they were bubbles at all.

"Some people thought they were made of glass, others something held underwater - others thought they were star forms in space! It's been pretty funny."

Next, Ewers says he is planning something around "rainbow colored oil drips on the road".

We look forward to seeing just what he means by that soon.

What do the bubbles look like to you?
