With news that private security firm G4S will be unable to honour its full £284m contract to supply staff for the Olympic Games, one might think that public opinion towards the company could not get any worse.
That was until it emerged on Friday that the troubled company had a theme tune.
First noted in Laurie Penny's column in the Independent, and picked up by Alex Hern at the New Statesman, the company appear to have commissioned an embarrassingly awful song, entitled: "Securing Your World".
The rousing song brags of the company's role in "protecting your world" and allowing your "dreams to unfurl", alongside other hyperbolic metaphors, including: "The enemy prowls, wanting to attack, but we're on the wall, we've got your back".
