They appeared alongside one another in Ridley Scott's much-heralded Prometheus and now Charlize Theron and Michael Fassbender have capitalised on their chemistry once more with a raunchy shoot for W Magazine.

The pair donned leather for a dungeon-style set of sweaty, sexy snaps featuring Theron with her head thrown back in apparent ecstasy and Fassbender all muscles and bulging veins.

Theron peppers the accompanying interview with soundbites like: "I don't have issues being naked (pause). That sounds very slutty" - making for an experience that will no doubt leave even the iciest reader hot under the collar.

The pictures serve as a contrast to how the pair appear in the film - with Theron portrayed as an ice queen (even though she does end up sharing some spaceship time with Idris Elba, despite herself), and Fassbender who stays the course as a passionless, undistractable android.
