Coronation Street's Michelle Keegan Vows To Take Break From Men After Split From Max George

Michelle Swears Off Men

Actress Michelle Keegan has vowed to stay away from men and take a break from romance following her split from pop hunk Max George.

The pair were previously set to become man and wife before calling off the engagement in April - but they insisted they were still very much in love.

However, their relationship came into question earlier this month when The Wanted singer was spotted kissing a pretty fan - prompting his representative to reveal: "He and Michelle are no longer together. They have been separated for a number of weeks, but hoped to keep this a private matter."

The Coronation street star is rumoured to have done the dumping, and The Mirror suggests she has sworn off men in the wake of the split.

The publication reports that Michelle told a friend: "I'm sick of relationships. I don't want anything more to do with men. I don't know if I can believe anything he ever said now."

But Max refused to let the split stop him from celebrating bandmate Jay McGuiness' 22nd birthday bash in London this week and partied the night away.

An insider tells the newspaper: "Max has had a hell of a week and was debating whether to show but, in the end, put on a brave face.

"Jay was delighted about the party. He was nearly in tears. There were a lot of girls around but Max just kept himself to himself."

The party was a starry affair - Paloma Faith spun the tunes, while members of new boyband Lawson also attended the bash.
