London 2012: The Facebook Quest To Reunite Family With Lost Camera

Is This You? Man's Quest To Reunite Camera With Owners

A man has begun a social media quest to return a lost camera to its rightful owners, posting a picture of the family on Facebook, leading others to join in and tweeting the picture.

"Found a camera on the train home last night & would love to get it back to it's owner(s)," Noel Gillett wrote on the site.

"It seems to belong to a family that had been to see Andy Murray at Wimbledon for the Olympics."

Do you know this family?

Gillett asks for the photo to be spread across the net, saying "if it works, you can all be proud to have been part of a good deed and receive a decent dose of London 2012 karma too!"

He said he found the camera on the District line at around 7.30pm last night. Using his detective skills and flicking through the photos, Gillett has deduced that the family may be from north of London after he found a photo taken at Euston station on Tuesday morning.

Noticing one of the boys is wearing a Liverpool cap, another decided to post the picture on supporters' forums for the club.
