Ángelo Henriquez has been pictured attending a medical ahead of completing his move to Manchester United.
The Chilean attended three-hour medical at Bridgewater Hospital earlier on Tuesday prior to finalising his transfer from Universidad de Chile to the 19-times English champions.
Henríquez, 18, will cost around £4m and will become Sir Alex Ferguson's third summer signing after the acquisitions of Shinji Kagawa and Nick Powell.
United have been linked with the attacker since early this year, amid reports he was also interesting Manchester City.
Although not yet capped by the Chilean national side, he scored 11 goals in 17 league games in 2012 to help Universidad, whose alumni includes former United target Marcelo Salas, to the title.
