Jessie J Stirs 6-Year-Old Girl From Coma

Jessie J has been praised for aiding the recovery of a six-year-old girl after she woke from from a coma with her pop idol singing to her.

Young Tyla was placed in a coma after a lorry smashed into the car she was in with her mother Michelle. It was feared she would never be be able to walk or talk properly again.

After doctors began to take her out of her induced eight-day coma, Michelle spent hours talking to her in a bid to boost her recovery chances.

And when she discovered that Jessie J was attending the hospital to visit sick children, she knew the singer would be the perfect pick me up for her daughter.

The pop star sat next to the bed-ridden young girl, who was staying at Great Ormond Street Hospital, and stirred her out of her coma by singing her favourite song Rainbow.

Within hours, Tyla was chatting, moving and singing - and can now play outside with her pals in the park.

The singer still keeps tabs on her recovery, and a grateful Tyla adds: "I've got a picture of her. I always put my hand on it and pray."
