The London 2012 Paralympics begin on 29 August to offer the Great British public an additional 11 days' multi-sport event this summer.
Ahead of the Games, we present some of the Team GB participants to watch out for on home soil.
British Paralympians brought back 102 medals from Beijing in 2008 - winning 42 golds in the process - and the expectation is that, like the Olympians, they will achieve even more this summer.
