The 14-year-old looked all grown up as she joined her two brothers Prince, 15, and Michael Jr, 10, on a family trip to the singer's childhood home in Gary, Indiana.
The trio were joined by other family members at the house where they later held a candlelight vigil for the music legend.
Fans also left tributes to Michael outside the house where the famous family lived until 1969.
It marked the beginning of a four-day tribute to Michael, entitled Goin’ Back to Indiana: Can You Feel It.
There will be a baseball game, a special dinner hosted by the Mayor of Gary as well as a tribute concert at the local theatre.
Paris also posted a touching tribute to her father on Twitter as she shared a picture of herself posing with an old photo of Michael.
"Thru my joy & my sorrow , in the promise of another 2morro , i’ll never let u apart for ur always in my heart… happy birthday i love u daddy <33," she tweeted.
It has been a turbulent year for the Jackson children.
Michael's nephew TJ Jackson was granted co-guardianship of the three children after a family row ripped the family apart, which saw Michael's mother Katherine, who was previously their sole guardian, go missing.
