The iPhone 5 is now available for pre-order.
The device, which is longer and thinner than the previous generation, as well as featuring an improved screen, a bigger battery and 4G LTE, was announced on Wednesday.
It is now available to pre-order on Apple.com, starting at £529 for the 16GB version.
The 32GB version is £599, while the 64GB is £699.
The iPhone 5 will also be available at a discounted price from various networks, though none will offer 4G at launch. In order to use the new device on the recently announced EE LTE network users will have to buy one through Orange or T-Mobile, and switch when the new network is launched.
The older iPhone 4 and 4S will continue to be offered at a lower price.
Demand for the new device is expected to be huge - analysts have predicted that as many as 10 million iPhones could be sold before the end of September.
