Ashley Cole Calls FA A 'Bunch Of T***s' Over John Terry Report

'Bunch Of T***s' - Cole Slams FA

Ashley Cole's England career could be in jeopardy after an extraordinary outburst on Twitter after the report of John Terry's charge was published.

Cole was called as a witness by the FA's tribunal during a four-day hearing at Wembley last week into whether Terry racially insulted Anton Ferdinand.

In the report, the commission expressed "considerable doubt" over evidence provided by the England left-back, something which Cole is furious about.

"Hahahahaa, well done #fa I lied did I, #BUNCHOFT***S," tweeted Cole via his verified account.

The considerable doubt of Cole's evidence is in reference to his claim "he heard, or could have heard" Ferdinand use the word "black" during the heated row between him and Terry.

Chelsea's club secretary David Barnard also asked for the word 'black' to be inserted into Cole's evidence, but his own recollections are deemed "materially defective".

Cole, 31, refused to shake hands with Ferdinand at the end of QPR's 1-0 Premier League victory, saying "nah, you can't talk to JT like that."

This was in response to Ferdinand saying to Terry “How can you call me a c***, you shagged your team mate's missus, you‟re the c***.”

Cole has been capped 98 times by England since he made his senior debut against Albania in March 2001. Should he win two more caps he will become only the sixth Englishman to have played 100 times for his country after Billy Wright, Bobby Moore, Sir Bobby Charlton, Peter Shilton and David Beckham.

He is part of Roy Hodgson's squad to face San Marino and Poland in this month's World Cup qualifiers but could now be dropped after his Twitter outburst.

UPDATE: Cole has now tweeted his outburst an hour after he first posted it and apologised via his solicitor.

"I was really upset and tweeted my feelings in the heat of the moment. I apologise unreservedly for my comment about the FA," the former Arsenal defender said.
