A team on animators and computer engineers has created a wind tunnel which uses light instead of, well, wind.
The video recreates the path of air as it moves around a vehicle, in stunning paths of electric light.
The staggering effect was the result of careful and intensive work, but its final form looks nearly effortless.
It was created by the Marshmallow Laser Feast visual effects crew, who used the £700,000 McLaren P1, tone of the fastest road cars in the world.
