The Tory party has lost touch with its traditional roots in the countryside, according to Alan Titchmarsh.
Mr Titchmarsh said parties of "all shades" are neglecting the needs of farmers, gardeners and other “outdoor” industries.
He suggested that even the Conservative party has lots its roots in rural areas.
"Time was when the Tory party was the party of the Shires and understood how the countryside works," he said.
