Things are getting serious between Harry Styles and Taylor Swift - he's taken her home to meet his mum.

That's right, Haylor - as the hot new couple have now been nicknamed - are taking their first mini-break together in the Lake District, and they'll be meeting up with Harry's mum as Taylor turns 23 on Thursday.

Meeting the parents - it's exactly what every girl wants for her birthday.

The pop sweethearts hung out with Harry's sister Gemma and her boyfriend and posed with fans while shopping in tiny Bowness on Windermere, where Taylor went on a shopping spree in Beatrix Potter World.

Then they hit the Rising Sun Inn so Taylor could tuck into a traditional British meal.

A source told The Sun: "Harry was really sweet. He helped her to choose from the menu as it was a lot of local food.

"He made sure Taylor tried the black pudding. She was pretty shocked when she found out what was in it."
