You write as if you think King Boris is using his own money
to bring any jobs to the citizens of London. 
You have already paid and will continue to pay for any development
inside London through your taxes.  So it’s
not him you should be grateful to it is the ordinary common person who gets out
of bed and gets themselves to work that you should be grateful to.  Most of which, work hard for so little pay.

Boris could have started speaking to him, the dog would probably have gon balistic. Boris could have changed the guys life around there and then, cleaned him up, sorted him a job. But he just ignored him, it is so easy to speak when you are wealthy and you don't need to work to eat, so easy to say "just do it" when all you "did" was be born in the right place.

I don't know, I'll check. Yep, Australian, so tax will be paid in Luxembourg or some other cheaper option. These developments bring nothing to a local area other than take money away from other developments and close down small businesses, making high streets derelict. I suppose in the long run, the high street might go back to being full of one off individual shops rather than just clones of every other high street. The major problem is that they are generally owned by fat cat landlords who would rather leave them empty than let them for low rents, which is where our representatives the councils should come in and do something about it.
