Apple CEO Tim Cook has hinted that apple is interested in building a wearable computer - but don't expect it to look like Google Glass.
Speaking in a wide-ranging interview at the D11 conference, Cook was typically cagey about upcoming products.
But he did say that while he finds it "tough to see it [Glass] having a broad-range appeal", in reference to the Google-made head-mounted computer, he is interested in exploring similar areas.
Wearable computers are "an area that's ripe for exploration" he said, adding that "there will be tons of companies playing in this... I see it as another very key branch of the tree".
Cook said that he wears a Nike Fuelband, and said they did a "great job".
He didn't comment on the rumoured iWatch, but he did offer vague assurances that the company is as innovative as it
ever was.
"The wrist is interesting," he said. "You still have to convince people that it's worth wearing."
"We have some incredible plans that we have been working on for a while," he said.
