An American DJ has been killed after going to retrieve his dropped iPhone from the tracks of New York's subway.
Francisco Diego, Jr, 22, was electrocuted then struck by a number two train after refusing to wait for a track worker to get it for him, reports the New York Post.
Diego, who goes by the name DJ Tech Trackz, was the second person to be killed on the city's transport system in 24 hours after a man trying to cross was hit by a train the previous day.

Diego was rushed to hospital but could not be saved
Diego’s sister Nandy, 19 said: "He’s done it before, which is why he tried to do it again," reports the NY Daily News.
"But this time it wasn’t successful. I feel like my heart has been ripped out."
