Graduate Fashion Week Winners: Chloe Jones Snags The Top Prize

If you want a sneak peek at what we'll all be wearing in a few years time, the current crop of new talent on show at Graduate Fashion Week is not a bad place to start.

Last night all things Graduate Fashion Week came to a climax with the Gala Awards Show. The most covetable award of the night, the £20,000 George Gold Award, was given to Chloe Jones of Bath Spa University, whose improbable blend of futuristic, druid and sports influences impressed judges Daphne Guinness, Suzy Menkes, Christopher Bailey and George's Fiona Lambert.

Other winners from the night include Riona Horrox of Edinburgh College of Art who snatched the Menswear Award, and Fiona Xiaoping Huang from UCLAN won the Zandra Rhodes Textiles award, which was given to her by MyDaily contributing editor Mary Katrantzou.

It's been 21 years since Christopher Bailey snatched the student of the year prize at the inaugural Graduate Fashion Week, and now Burberry's creative director heads up the GFW judging panel - which is reason enough for us to think that Ms Jones is going places.

Take a look at the gallery below to see who else was at last night's event and let us know how you rate the star's talent-spotting styles.
