Yves Saint Laurent has confirmed that Jessica Chastain will be the face of their new fragrance, Manifesto, which will launch in France this August. (We're guessing it wasn't a coincidence that the star wore vintage YSL to the premiere of Madagascar 3 last night).
Speaking about her new role, Chastain said, "Yves Saint Laurent is a brand that inspires me deeply. Since its creation, the brand has conveyed strong values that I cherish, such as unwavering commitment, absolute love and feminine audacity. This new fragrance is the emblem of it all. I am thrilled to be a part of this beautiful adventure".
So what can we expect from the scent itself? A fruity blend of jasmine, lily of the valley, blackcurrant, cedar, sandalwood, vanilla and Tonka bean.
