Fern Britton Snubbed From 'This Morning' 25th Anniversary Celebrations 'Over Rift With Phillip Schofield'

Fern's Snub

Former 'This Morning' presenter Fern Britton has been left off the invite list for the daytime show's forthcoming 25th anniversary celebrations because of a bust up with her old co-host, Phillip Schofield.

Despite presenting the show for seven years and her husband, Phil Vickery being the show's chef, Fern has been snubbed by bosses, according to The Sun.

Fern and Phil hosted 'This Morning' together between 2002 and 2009

Phil hinted at a rift earlier this year following reports he was paid three times her £15,000-a-show salary for 'All Star Mr & Mrs'.

Asked during an interview with Heat magazine if they still speak, he said: "No, not really. We were involved in the show and mates at the time, but we don't really...

"I see Phil [Fern's husband, chef Phil Vickery] when he's in 'This Morning'... But we're not in touch now."

And Fern isn't the only former star of the show whose invite has got lost in the post.

John Leslie and weatherman Fred Talbot will also be no-shows at the two-hour special on 3 October.

However, Richard Madeley and Judy Finnigan will be back at This Morning's original home in Liverpool’s Albert Docks - joined by current hosts Phillip Schofield, Holly Willoughby, Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford.

“It’s not really about every presenter coming back.”
