WATCH: Penelope Cruz Reveals She Had No Rehearsals With Michael Fassbender For Intimate 'The Counselor' Scenes
Penelope Cruz has revealed that the intimate scenes between her and Michael Fassbender in 'The Counselor' weren't rehearsed at all, which she thought was better - "we just had a read-through."
Cruz joins Fassbender, husband Javier Bardem, Cameron Diaz and Brad Pitt for this unrelenting look by writer Cormac McCarthy and director Ridley Scott into what happens when greed tempts even the smartest people down the wrong track.
"It's not a violence that doesn't hurt. This isn't a video game, these are real people going through something disturbing and it has to hurt," says Cruz.
