'One Direction Will Break Up', Says 'X Factor' Boss Simon Cowell

Simon Cowell has admitted one of his most lucrative cash cows, One Direction, WILL break up at some point.

But the music mogul doesn't seem too fussed by the prospect - unlike their millions of adoring fans - as he thinks they'll still have success as solo artists.

It was Simon's idea to put Zayn Malik, Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson,Niall Horan, Liam Payne together in a group on the 'X Factor' but speaking to Billboard magazine, Simon said he didn't believe their recent claim that they'll stick together until they're too old to go on stage.

"Eventually they probably will split up and maybe want to have their own careers," he admitted.
