Actor Paul Walker, most famous for his role in the 'Fast And The Furious' films, has been killed in a car crash.
The incident happened in Santa Clarita, California on Saturday night.
He was 40 years old.
TMZ reports that Walker was in a Porsche when the driver somehow lost control of the vehicle. It then collided with a post or a tree and then burst into flames and exploded.
The cause of the crash is unknown but a sheriff said speed "may have been a factor".
He had recently begun working on 'Fast and Furious 7', reprising his role as Brian O'Conner. The movie had begun filming in Atlanta and was set to move to Abu Dhabi in January.
Walker was on a break from shooting for the Thanksgiving holiday, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The star was also known for his roles in 'Varsity Blues', 'Into the Blue', 'Flags of Our Fathers' and 'Takers'.
He is survived by a 15-year-old daughter, Meadow.
