World War II Bomb Explodes In German Town

A Second World War bomb has exploded in a German town, killing one and wounding eight.

Police in Euskirchen, near Bonn said the device was disturbed during construction work, with the driver of a mechanical digger dying from the blast. Two people remain seriously injured, with the remaining six suffering less severe injuries.
