Police are investigating alleged anti-semitic twitter exchanges following the FA Cup third round tie between Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur.
Scotland Yard are looking into allegations that a number of tweets were posted by Arsenal fans after their side's 2-0 victory at the Emirates Stadium, the Standard reported.

The atmosphere at the match was highly charged, not unusual for the north London derby, and was exacerbated when Theo Walcott mocked the spurs fans by giving hand signals to show the score as he was stretchered off after suffering a knee ligament injury. The England player is sidelined for six months and will miss the World Cup.
Coins were hurled from the away fans at the striker as well as the medics who were stretchering the 24-year-old off the pitch. Manager Arsene Wenger said after the match that Walcott had been reacting to the coin-throwing and that his gesture was not offensive.
The striker will not face any sanction after an investigation by the FA. In a statement, it said: "The FA has contacted Arsenal’s Theo Walcott and reminded him of his responsibilities regarding a ‘score-line’ gesture he made in front of away supporters during the game. The FA will not be taking any further disciplinary action."
However, the FA has contacted both clubs to get answers about the Walcott incident as well as other occurrences of coin throwing from both home and away sections of the crowd at different times during the tie.
The FA statement said that it "condemns any such acts and will liaise with both clubs and the Metropolitan Police to identify those responsible and support the strongest sanctions available, including life bans."
