Shark Repelling Gadgets Gain Popularity

You might still be pretty impressed with your new iPad. But over in Hawaii, the trendiest gadget around has a somewhat more practical purpose: confusing sharks.

According to the AP, a surge in shark attacks in Hawaii hasn't led to a decline in people using the water. What it has done is boost the sales of devices which purport to clear surrounding water of sharks by emitting electric pulses.
