A mum-to-be has captured her father's emotional reaction as he learns he is about to become a grandad in a heartwarming video recording.
Her dad's infectious joy has enraptured online viewers. The 48 second clip was posted online by Jessica Vigansky just nine days ago and it has already racked up almost 9 million views.
At first Jessica's father Jim is baffled when he is handed a small box containing a baby's dummy.
"Looks like something you used to suck on when you was little," he says, before being instructed by Jessica to read the note attached, which states 'Hatching November 17th 2014.'
Once the penny drops, Jim can barely contain his excitement. First he clutches the dummy to his chest with a smile that stretches right across his face, before shedding a tear of joy.
Jessica wanted to be sure that she was pregnant before breaking the news to her father, so waited until after her 10 week ultrasound to make the announcement.
After posting the video online Jessica wrote on Reddit:
"Told my dad he is going to be a grandpa. I am his only child and my mother passed away 20 years ago. He has been asking us for grandchildren since our wedding night. I think he is happy. :)"
