Magnetic Shoes Let Inventor Walk On His (Metal) Ceiling

The Question Is 'Why DON'T You Need Magnetic Shoes?'

You might remember from last week how an oddly talented man on YouTube, in both senses of that word, made his own set of Wolverine claws?

He's been at it again.

This time, Mr Colin Furze has made his own set of magnetic shoes, letting him walk upside down on his ceiling.

Yes, it's the sort of invention only a five year old would come up with. And yes, they barely work and require a special magnetic strip to be attached to the ceiling.

But in a world where portable staircase slides are already available, what are we supposed to do -- not invent something even more bizarrely inexplicable? We think not.
