Glenn Beck Thinks 'Watch Dogs' Is Teaching Kids To Hack For Real

The American conservative pundit Glenn Beck thinks the video game 'Watch Dogs' actually teaches you how to hack into security networks.

The former Fox News presenter and current commentator on indie news network 'The Blaze' appears to be under the assumption that the game is a real hacking simulator.

'Watch Dogs' does allow you to hack into the game world - raising bridges, watching security cameras and stealing money - but does so through a simple one button interface. It does not teach you to hack, or anything close to that.

Still, Beck seems worried. And in a sense he's right - you know, like how Super Mario taught us to be great parkour artists back in the early 90s.

"The idea here is they are teaching you to hack and then become the ultimate voyeur in other people's lives, including their bedrooms, by hacking into their phones and everything," he said in a recent segment, according to Polygon.

"This game is teaching you to hack into whatever is docked in your bedroom. What the heck is wrong with us? What are we thinking? We are inviting this into our home and our lives. We are teaching our kids for entertainment purposes."

We reviewed Watch Dogs earlier this week and gave it 4/5 - in light of Beck's revelations though we might have to reconsider...
