Madonna was almost unrecognisable in a photo she uploaded to her Instagram page on Tuesday night, which showed the iconic singer caked in a clay face mask.
The Queen of Pop was testing out one of the products in her skincare range, MDNA Skin - named after her 2012 album of the same name - and treated her followers to a photo where she sported a Clay Mask in the process.
Keen to show off the results of her facial, Madonna then uploaded another fresh-faced photo which showed her skin looking great.
Modest as ever, she added the caption: “Lovely and glowing! Yaaaasssssss it werks!”
She also added the hashtag #unapologeticbitch, which she’s been using an increasing amount lately, prompting some fans to speculate it could be the title of her forthcoming thirteenth album.
Madonna is pulling out all the stops for her new release, and has been working with a number of big names including Diplo, British singer/songwriter Natalia Kills and Avicii, who topped the UK singles chart with his smash hit ‘Wake Me Up!’ last year.
Another recent Instagram photo revealed that she’d been reunited with ‘Happy’ singer Pharrell Williams, who she previously collaborated with for her R&B-inspired album ‘Hard Candy’.
We’re surprised to hear that the two have decided to work together again, as it doesn’t sound like it was entirely smooth sailing for them in the studio first time around. In fact, the chart-topping singer recently revealed that at one point during the recording process the two actually came to blows.
Perhaps she offered him a free face mask as a peace offering?
Madonna previously used her Instagram to tease a joint photo-shoot with Katy Perry for V magazine, which saw the pair donning S&M-inspired attire and striking some pretty provocative photos.
