Rachel "Bunny" Meyer - more commonly known as GRAV3YARDGIRL - rakes in more than £500,000 a year from her ventures in fashion vlogging. Perhaps it's time for a career change...
The 28-year-old self-declared "Swamp Queen" from Houston, Texas, currently boasts 2.9million YouTube subscribers, 835,417 Instagram followers, 392,000 Facebook Likes and 231,000 Twitter fans and all that influence has resulted in cold, hard cash.
With an estimated annual income of anywhere between £100,000 and £500,000, Rachel makes more mula in 12 months than us mere mortals can even dream of.
So how does she do it? By being - dare we say it? - somewhat annoying. But apparently annoying is what the viewing public wants so props for her to tapping into the market so succinctly.
The lesson from this is if you're borderline irritating with an interest in fashion and beauty, you too could pack in your desk job and make loads of money taking slefies and shooting monologues on your webcam.
Note to self: buy webcam.
However, Rachel isn't the only one making paper in a different kind of way. Let's not forget Mario Lavandeira - AKA Perez Hilton - started off on his own at a computer armed with a sharp tongue and access to Microsoft Paint. These days he allegedly makes £170,00 a month from his site.
While we wouldn't advise handing in your resignation just yet, it seems like this is the way to make big bucks in the brave new world of the internet.
