Dating In A World With Tinder: This Video Explains All

Tinder has completely redefined what it means to date. Matching with someone normally means you like their face and are willing to travel the mile or so distance mapped out by your radius preference to meet them.

You don't really know anything about them and this new YouTube skit from Local Attraction lays out exactly how awkward a Tinder (or as they refer to it in the video "Timber") date can really be.

Watch the video here:

The first in a potential web series depicts the most awkward and uncomfortable date ever when Trent, a bloke who works in fin-ANCE, and Maeve, a fashion blogger, meet up for a candlelit dinner. It will have you cringing from head-to-toe but bear with it because it really is amazing.

Our favourite point? When Trent describes his military-style exercise regime called martyr which takes place in a "dark and overheated basement" in order to "maximise dehydration". Apparently, this workout got its name because you're "sacrificing yourself for a better version you...

"It's not safe, but you sign up for that. You sign up for that risk. You sign up for that danger. They actually make you sign a waver saying that the staff is not liable for any damages that you incur... I've actually lost consciousness in that basement before."

Perhaps finding love in your radius isn't all it's cracked up to be.
