Cheap Make Up: Lip Gloss For Under £10

There's something fun about lip gloss. It's the final touch to your make up look and in our view, always the icing on the cake. A pop of bright orange, a sultry red or classic nude, a slick of gloss gives a high- shine to lips.

All the best lip glosses combine colour with a shot of moisture, so you can kiss goodbye to dry, flaky lips without compromising on the intensity of colour.

The thicker the lip gloss, generally the stickier. There's nothing wrong with a sticky lip gloss and they tend to make the most impact. But sticky glosses are not the most kissable and long-haired girls will have to be careful to avoid stray hair sticking to their lips.

The million dollar question is how do you keep your lips glossy all day without the need for constant touch-ups?

We asked make up artist Dani Guinsberg for her insider tips on how to keep lip gloss on for longer than five minutes.

"Lip gloss is a hard one to keep on for more than a few hours, but the best way is to use a lip stain in your chosen colour first. Apply gloss on top and with a small fluffy brush apply a powder highlighter to the centre of the lips to give the appearance of high shine."

For an instant fix treat yourself to a new lip gloss. We've rounded up the pick of the bunch, including brush, chubby crayon and lip balm style glosses. And at these bargain prices there's really no excuse.
