Former ‘TOWIE’ star Mario Falcone has issued an apology after allegedly being caught snorting cocaine on video.

The reality TV star left ‘TOWIE’ when the Sun On Sunday shared the video, which they state shows Mario taking the class A drug, in June.

After a few months off the show, Mario appears to be ready to return and is now asking producers to reconsider their decision to axe him.

He tells The Sun: “I would like to publicly apologise to my loyal family and friends, all of my co-stars on Towie, to ITV and most importantly all of the fans.”

The paper reports that Mario also admitted his health and fitness suffered due to “excessive partying over a three-month period”.

“After a few personal issues I went off the rails,” Mario explains. “I have been seeking professional assistance and am now fit and well.

“I hope that the producers and ITV will see my genuine remorse and consider allowing me to return to the show."

When the video was released, Mario was banned from the cast’s annual trip to Marbella while the allegations were investigated.

In July, James Lock made his return to ‘TOWIE’ after pleading guilty to possession of class C drug ketamine.

His comeback episode saw him apologise to girlfriend Danielle Armstrong and pal Dan Osborne, stating he regretted his actions.
