Alexa Chung's Next Fashion Project? A Denim Collection

If Alexa Chung and denim rank highly on your fashion agenda, you're going to love this latest news. The model and TV presenter has collaborated with American denim label Adriano Goldschmied.

Her 20-piece collection with the brand will launch in January 2015 and WWD reports the line-up will include signature dresses, tees and jeans retailing between £42 and £177.

As for getting your hands on her denim designs? The US brand ships stock internationally and there's also a chance that you'll be able to buy on Net-a-Porter.com and Selfridges.

Alexa confirmed the collaboration on Instagram by teasing a photo of a gold button with a flower motif that reads "Alexa Chung for AG Jeans" with the caption: "Coming soon! #AGjeans"

"'The collection is inherently the missing pieces of my dream denim wardrobe. Which, as ever, is predominantly inspired by a late Sixties, early Seventies aesthetic" Alexa told WWD.

If you're all about channeling your inner 1960s/1970s siren, this collection will be right up your street too - it's a well known fact that Brigitte Bardot is Alexa's ultimate fashion icon.

And remember her debut book, It, that was published last year? Alexa's also been busy promoting the paperback edition and recently shared a photo with the caption:

"Paperback edition of IT will be available to buy from 7th of August. :-) thank you to those who made it the best selling fashion tome of last year (that's a real actual fact (I know.)"
