When it comes to beauty and fashion maths, there's nothing quite like the white dress, red lipstick pairing.

First championed by Hollywood's leading ladies in the Fifties, it's a classic style statement that's still going strong today. So - how has this look managed to stand the test of time (and not look trashy?)

Lucikly, Amanda Seyfried, our favourite Mean Girl and red lipstick queen, answered this question for us at the latest Lovelace premiere in Las Vegas over the weekend.
