Elle Fanning is everything that's fresh, fun and completely fabulous about young Hollywood and her cover for Asos magazine's July issue is making us want to ignore the fact it's raining and break out our summer wardrobes.

It's the glossy blonde hair, the cheeky edge and cutesy style that does it - and these shots by photographer Michael Hauptman of Elle in her sunny LA hometown are pure teen dream.
In her interview with Asos, Elle talks high school, being star struck and puffy dresses of the princess variety.
"I'm very girlie, so it used to be a lot of Peter Pan collars and poofy dresses, now I'm getting older, I feel like I can wear things a bit more structured and a bit more tomboy. I'm ok with wearing trousers now, but when I was 12, I was like 'No, that's for boys!'"
There's no denying she's basically the personification of LA sunshine, but Elle also fesses up to being a huge fan of London: "I love the vintage shopping, especially at Rokit.
"In L.A., the vintage stores can be expensive and all very dressy, but in London it's a bit more practical, a little more rugged and I like that."
The star also chatted about meeting a certain uber superstar at the Met Ball. "I met Beyonce the first time I went...I was 13 and I was with my sister, who knew that I love Beyonce so much and wanted to meet her.
"Dakota was talking to her and she introduced me, but I couldn't really say anything. Beyonce turned round and was glowing. She said 'You look so cute!' She was really cool."
