Let the force be within you! A couple were left stunned when they saw the face of the evil emperor from Star Wars staring out of their unborn baby's scan.
Heather Large, 39, from Illinois, US, saw the cloaked Dark Lord of the Sith lurking ominously in the ultrasound.
Her husband Toby, 33, said: "During the ultrasound, Heather noticed that one of the images appeared to look like Emperor Palpatine from Star Wars.
"At this point, everyone in the room had a laugh, including our eight-year-old daughter Hannah and the ultrasound technician
"At the end of the ultrasound, the tech asked us if we would like to include that image on our take-home CD, since we were so amused."
The new dad uploaded the image to the internet last week and it immediately caused uproar among fans of the franchise online.
He said: "Now Heather is both amused and slightly disturbed that images of her uterus are making the rounds on the internet."
One viewer 'MasterGnet' commented: "The Force is strong with this one! Like it!! Congrats from Switzerland!".
Another, 'Khz-acid' wrote: "Grats on the sith lord baby!"
Thankfully baby Bowie, who was born eight months ago, no longer bears any resemblance to the evil overlord.
