London Fashion Week Beauty: Christopher Raeburn Autumn/Winter 2014

Good news for anyone who was hoping the natural, back-to-basics beauty trend from Spring/Summer 2014 is here to stay.

Backstage at Christopher Raeburn's Autumn/Winter 2014 show, Mac Senior Artist Debbie Finnegan summed up the beauty look as "very real, very fresh."

Of course this meant the skin looked flawless but Finnegan was keen to add an element of "winter sun" to her look. This was to match Raeburn's reference to adventure this season.

"I've used Mac's Cream Colour Base in a grey tone as a wash across the eyelids," Finnegan told us.

"This adds a sheen to the eyes, but I've kept the rest of the skin matte with a highly moisturised lip. We're using a touch of Mac's Lustre Lipstick in a nude shade for a perfect, luxurious finish."

The key to keeping this look soft? No mascara or eyeliner. And the nail colour? Essie's Fill The Gap base coat with Good To Go on top. All you need for the perfect natural-looking manicure.
