London Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2014: House Of Holland

14/08/2014 16:34 | Updated 22 May 2015

Before Henry Holland's Spring/Summer 2014 show started, all eyes were on the front row. Ellie Goulding and Nicola Roberts turned up first, followed by Alexa Chung, Daisy Lowe, Leigh Lezark and Eliza Doolittle. The next trio to arrive? Kelly Osbourne, Nick Grimshaw and OMG. Harry Styles.

Yes - dressed in a white t-shirt and jeans, Styles managed to steal the show. However - front row aside, there were some lessons to be learned from House of Holland's latest collection...

1. Henry Holland knows how to pull in a good crowd (see below).

2. If ever in doubt over how to look chic next summer, channel the 1950s. Belted dresses cinched at the waist will always look sophisticated.

3. Feminine silhouettes and shapes don't have to look girly. Holland toughened up his 'homegirls' with tattoo motifs, leather, denim and chunky jewellery.

4. Whether you're dressing up or playing it cool in sunglasses and shorts, a raspberry lip colour will go with anything.
