Is it too early to be thinking about Christmas party season? Something about longer nights and a chill in the air just makes me mentally plan what I'll wear for nights dancing this winter.
And last week's lipsticks are a good start, in particular the plum by Japonesque I wore to a party at The Savoy on Tuesday.
It was for the launch of Jack Daniels' new bourbon Sinatra Select and because my diary is a mess of stupid notes like "blue top in Zara - BUY!" and "call Mum about that supplement" I forgot I was going, and was woefully underdressed. I'm talking jeans and a pyjama-ish top underdressed.
But a few coats of mascara plus a slick of this sultry plum and my look went from so whatever to so Savoy. In an understated way (well, come on, it was a Tuesday).
