It's good to hear we're not the only ones obsessed with coconut oil. Actress Minnie Driver has revealed she's hooked on the stuff too, particularly when it comes to keeping her curly long hair looking healthy and full of shine.

Driver told InStyle she uses the oil as a mask on her hair every couple of weeks.

"Every two weeks, I cover my head in coconut oil and I leave it on the whole day. I just put my hair up and wear a cap or I pin it all in," she shared with the magazine.

"When I wash it out that evening, it leaves my hair so soft – there's just nothing I've found that's better. My hair drinks it all up."

And when she's not turning to natural remedies to keep her curls in check? Driver also raved about the Define and Shine Gel Cream from Ouidad.

"It's magical - it has no silicone or buildup, it's just brilliant," she said.

Want to try using coconut oil in your hair? Susan Curtis, natural health director at Neal's Yard Remedies suggests the following:

"Apply a couple of teaspoons to your hair. Comb it through and wrap in a towel or turban, or just a shower cap. Leave for an hour or two, at least – or if you are feeling very ambitious leave overnight. Follow with a shampoo as usual with a gentle, good quality organic product."
