Now spring is here, the weather is finally getting warmer and opaque tights plus oversized coats, scarves and gloves are no longer needed on a daily basis. Hurrah!
However - unless you're jetting off on an exotic holiday, it's likely you're feeling a bit fed up with your lack of sun tan. The answer? Fake it.
Many beauty brands are already launching their latest self-tanning products and the good news is, they're brilliant.
Here's three of the best new launches to know about:
1.Radiance-Plus Golden Glow Booster, £18 available from 30 March at Clarins
As its name suggest, this latest self-tanning product from Clarins really is all about achieving a radiant complexion. Mix a few drops with your day cream or serum and apply to the face as normal. (It's been made to work alongside other skincare products.) It's odourless and hydrating thanks to the aloe vera extract - but best of all, the end result is subtle. This is a great one to try if you're not really into self-tanning but just can't wait until July to get that sun-kissed glow.
2. For All My Eternity Self Tanning Range, £13.99 to £24.99 available from FAME
For All My Eternity is a new British skincare and tanning brand. With seven key products and a choice of light, medium and dark coverage, there's something for everyone whether you're self-tan obsessed or not. All the UK-made tanners are paraben-free and use organic ingredients - our personal favourite? The Fast Tan - you'll get a glow in less than an hour.
3. Lancome Flash Bronzer Self-Tanning Face Gel, £24 from Harrods
Another brilliant self-tanner made specifically for the face, Lancome's latest from the Flash Bronzer range is the kind of product you'll end up using all summer long. It builds up a subtle glow within a few hours of application and if you're really in a hurry - you can skip the moisturiser/primer stages of your skincare routine. (The vitamin E makes it is extra soothing on the skin.)
