The Karl Lagerfeld Perfumes Are Here

The Karl Lagerfeld Perfumes Are Here

Just days after he opened his Chanel supermarket at Paris Fashion Week, Karl Lagerfeld is launching two new fragrances on 9 March.

The women's eau de parfum and the men's eau de toilette are the first perfumes from Karl Lagerfeld's brand since Karleidoscope. (Unfortunately the latest additions don't come with such catchy names.)

The fragrances will launch in Harrods ahead of the designer's London store opening on 13 March.

So - what can we expect from the new scents?

There are hints of lemon, peach and rose in the women's scent, while the men's perfume is centred on lavender.

"There has to be a kind of sophistication and not too much of a down-to-earth garden, flowery hot-house mood," Lagerfeld told WWD.

Let's hope they're more of a success than Karl's last perfume launch. (Karleidoscope has already been discontinued.)
