Guess what? There's no need to waste your time going on dates with someone in order to find out whether you're destined to be together.
In fact before marrying someone all you need to do to find out if it's going to last forever - or go the way of Tom and Katie - is ask three questions, according to new data from OKCupid.
Upon hearing this news, I thought to myself: "Sure, I get it. You need to know whether they want kids, their views on Britney Spears and whether they'd like to get married some day." But nope, I've been proved completely and unequivocally wrong.
The three things you need to be asking your potential husband are:
1. Do you like horror movies?
2. Have you ever traveled around another country alone?
3. Wouldn't it be fun to chuck it all in and go live on a sailboat?
While that's all very well and good, I'm not entirely sure what answers would have me picking out flowers for my forthcoming nuptials. Do you?
Does this mean I should ask my current boyf the Qs and then ditch him if I don't agree with him?
Me: "Do you like horror movies?"
Him: "Hell yeah, you already know that!"
Me: "Well I can take them or leave them, so get the f*ck away from me!"
In my personal opinion this is a more accurate test of whether you're destined to be together forever...
