A woman has been arrested after a seven-month-old baby girl died in Nottingham.
The child was taken to the Queen's Medical Centre in the city after the emergency services were called to a property on the Bestwood Park estate on Sunday.
The BBC reports that the baby was declared dead on arrival at hospital.
Police have cordoned off the house, and arrested a woman of 39.
Nottinghamshire Police told the BBC that the property is being forensically searched and house-to-house inquiries undertaken.
A post-mortem examination is due to be carried out on the little girl.
