If your wardrobe is desperately in need of a few simple basics, Abbey Clancy's new fashion collection for Matalan is a good place to look.
Her second range for the brand features 23 pieces including figure-hugging dresses and structured pencil skirts.
The monochrome colour palette makes them great staples for the office, but these flattering shapes can easily be dressed up for a night out with a pair of party heels. Now that's the kind of easy-to-wear fashion we like.

They're affordable too. Prices are around £20 for tops and skirts and £40 for dresses.
Speaking about the collection Abbey said, "They are statement, stand-out pieces bound to get anyone noticed.
"I love the peek-a-boo trend at the moment, I think showing a subtle amount of skin is really flattering, which is why I wanted to incorporate this into my current collection," she added.
"Black and white are always key colours in my wardrobe, and I think they work perfectly for day or night - particularly the white stripy co-ord set, that is one of my favourite pieces."
The 'Abbey by Abbey Clancy' collection will be available at Matalan online from 29 August 2014 and in selected stores nationwide from the 3rd September.
