Apple Reveals Top Reasons For Rejecting Apps

Apple Reveals 'Naughty List' For Apps

Ever wondered what it's like to get an app published by Apple? Well it might be more difficult than you think as every app has to go through strict checks before it can be approved.

In order to offer some transparency and also to help developers, the company has revealed the top 10 reasons it doesn't accept apps with design, factual inaccuracies and bugs being the worst offenders.

One of the biggest reasons is bugs: apps that are simply not ready. Following closely behind are apps that do not conform with Apple's Developer Program License Agreement.

Probably one of the most surprising reasons however was design. Apple rejects six per cent of all apps straight away based on that.

This can mean apps that are either too complicated or too simple, or just badly designed (as determined by Apple).

So there you have it, before you start making your app-based millions it might be worth checking out the full list of reasons to prevent yourself stumbling at the first hurdle.
