This Louis Vuitton Handbag Isn't Very Practical

As these studded Christian Louboutin Daffodile stilettos show, price and practicality don't always go hand in hand when it comes to luxury fashion.

Louis Vuitton has just provided another good example of this.

Louis Vuitton

Designed by Comme des Garçons' Rei Kawakubo, this tote bag costs £2,790 and features "frayed asymmetric cut-outs," also known as holes.

Huffington Post Stylereports the French fashion brand asked six designers to create their own unique versions of the classic LV monogrammed bag for the Icons collection.

While this bag is sure to be a designer classic in the future, we're still wondering where you put your wallet, keys, phone... all the important, valuable items you really don't want to lose when out and about.

Of course, Louis Vuitton isn't the only brand to produce ridiculously-priced goods.

Prada's fur coat from its Autumn/Winter 2013 collection cost £91,000 and who can forget the Victoria's Secret Treasure Bra worth a staggering $2.5 million (that's £1.53 million.)

This handbag from Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen's collaboration with Damien Hirst came with a pretty spectacular price tag too...

The Row

The Row rucksack was pretty, practical and pretty - but it cost £34,000. (Why not save up and buy some actual Damien Hirst artwork?)
